Ok, art music covers so much, but for solo piano my preference is Debussy, and this set has many good qualities. The sound recording quality is perfect and presentation is at usual Hyperion high standards. Yes, it is not the complete solo piano works of Debussy, and that was my only worry before buying it, but do you really need them all when this set has all the most memorable works, arranged by collection, and outstanding performance throughout? As for the price, it is a steal because you can listen to this set many times and still come back to it, the music is timeless and so very dreamy. More Reviews
