Summary: I good guide i say why the bad reviews
Comment: I dont really know why some of the review say this is bad the first cds the best trance collection i think.I mean you got pleaty a strong tune to start with reason onto that cheasy classic be cool.Into alot of strong commercial deep trance in my eyes, forever and few new songs like that amazing tune looky thing.Cd2 a sort with abit hiphop by missy 4 my people which is not really dance but its a good song which fits into it alot of good house tunes.A good clubbers guide but check clubbers guide 2002,2003 which i think are just as good .

Summary: Pure Stilton with a few decent glimpses of hope!
Comment: I usually buy this cd every year...even this year! I thought it would be ok but when i put it on I was disappointed - they seem to be getting worse every year!! The first cd seems to be mostly a repeat of several 'Ministry of Sound' compilations that are out at the moment! In fact i think the first 8 - 9 tracks are on about 3 different albums they have released and are mostly commercial / charty dance for teenagers who have just left school!! Being a trance fan i was not fond of the second cd either, I suppose it would be good if you were into funky house! Apart from 2 or 3 decent tunes on the first cd most of these are very commercial and some are quite old which will not be Ibiza anthems anyway! Generally I was very disappointed, since Judge Jules has stopped mixings these cds the quality has just gone down the pan severly! I think it just show's how dance music is becoming very corporate and commercial...

Summary: Not too bad, yet not too good
Comment: Yet another comercial dance compelation from Ministry of Sound. Once again this year they have chosen the mix the compelation themselves which isn't so bad, but the choice of tunes used on the first CD is lacking a little in quality during CD1.

The first CD looks at trance (so they have done it the other way round this year, sneaky huh?) and the second CD is funky and progressive house.

Going for a complete CD full of trance for CD1 is probably the reason why they have stuffed it full of poor quality vocal trance tracks to fill the album. Don't get me wrong - some are good, but if you're into quality trance, theres only one or 2 good tracks on here.

If you're into comercial dance, go with this. If you're into quality trance, try gatecrasher digital trance and if house is your thing - try john digweed or pete tong etc.

Summary: Excellent and a good start to the summer
Comment: I have bought every "Ministry Of Sound album" going! I always love the "Clubbers Guide to Ibiza albums" This one is no exception to the rest! With a good mix of soft and hard club music! Some songs are old but have been remixed to sound that little bit different when first released! Once again my collection as grown and I have add to my list of excellent albums! Thank You!

Summary: A quality blend of progressive and chilled anthems.
Comment: With the amount of dance compilations out at the moment it's difficult to decide which are half decent and which you would'nt even give a second look. For me this album contains very few 'fillers'. Most the tracks here make quality listening. The 1st CD is on the more mellow side of progressive house, which is quite funky. The 2nd CD is superb. Bangin' tunes all the way. Best track has to be 'Slacker - Looky Thing (EYE EYE CLUB 1)' If you havent bought a dance compilation lately, then this one is well worth a look.
