Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Pleased overall with the compilation! Comment: For me, this was a good purchase. There are hardly any songs I dont like on it, as so happens often with these compilations. It is my first hed kandi CD box that I have bought though and usually steer clear of them. This could change my mind. I particularly like Byron Stingily (Get up everybody) and of course I want your soul by Armand Van Helden. Dont buy if you want something less commercial (although trust me it isnt that commercial!!) mind you if you have a clue what is, then you shouldnt be looking at these CD's anyway! Customer Rating: Summary: Boring! Comment: Nothing good there. Hed Kandi keeps on bringing more and more releases of the MIX serie and this one is the worst. Weird mixies (rise up for exemple) old tunes (eg "intoxicated", "creep"...) etc... CD3 is not that bad not very Kandi style. Rubbish!! Comment: This is a big disappointment, in my opinion. If you're looking for classic hed kandi, don't buy this CD. Firstly, it's way too commercial. Some of these tracks you might hear on the radio, and a lot of them would probably find their way onto a Ministry Of Sound CD. They lack that something, that X-factor, that used to be so apparent in all of hed kandi's work. I worry about the future for hed kandi, when we get CDs like this, something is definitely going wrong.. Customer Rating: Summary: Hed Kandi Summer Mix 07 Comment: Hed Kandi are back with their summer mix comp for 2007. And although not incredible, it's still rather good. CD3 helps its score with a great look back to classic White Isle moments. Obviously filled to the rafters with funky electro cuts, current dancefloor highlights include Tronic Youth's take on Gossip's Standing In The Way Of Control, the sublime Hooked vs MJ Cole Feat. Laura Vane - Watertight, Shaolin Master vs The Flirtations - Time and Soul Survivors - Bring It Back. More Reviews
