Summary: Dance fan? BUY IT!!
Comment: i agree with most of the people here whats wrong with people buying fun music thats perfect to
listen to before a night out to get things rolling????? i love it for its uplifting tracks and yes
some are covers but others are written by them and are equally as good! think the select few need to
lighten up stop weeping and go back to your mozart.. Oh and if this review gets any 'unhelpful'
ratings we'll all know who it was! ;)

Summary: Get your own songs!
Comment: Why would you want to by an alum that is sung identically to the original? Buy the tweet or Luther
Vandross album instead... at least they come up with their own music, instead of stealing others.

Summary: Feel Good Fun
Comment: I bought this album having followed the girls since they were part of Big Brovaz. Thankfully they've
moved away from Hip-hop/Pop, which just wasn't selling, and have created a solid dance album. />
No doubt you've heard of two or three of their songs as some of the songs on the album are
covers. Comparing them seems pointless, I don't expect a dance cover to be better than the original.
I just like seeing what changes they've made to them. Criticising them for covering songs seems how
most people start hating Booty Luv. I am a big Tweet ("Boogie 2nite") and Mary J. Blige ("Be Without
You") fan and see no problem with two girls having fun, and covering some of their favourite
songs.

Booty Luv are Cherise and Nadia and their first single "Boogie 2nite" had
surprising success and so "Shine" got a release, followed by the recent hit "Don't mess with my
man". All high charting club hits, Booty Luv have now released an album.

"Boogie 2nite"
the album is 12 tracks long with a few bonus remixes. The hit singles come first and then come the
original songs, most of which are written by the girls. They are fun, high energy and feel good -
something few artists nowadays rely on. Meaning and metaphor take second place to the general sense
of fun. Having a fun album, that gets you in the mood for a party, is good to own. Even though it's
not ground-breaking originality you'd be hard pushed to find a similar album. Booty Luv may draw
comparisons to Cascada, and with justification, but Booty Luv now take centre stage.
/>Highlights include: "Shine" (great to dance to in a club); "Some Kinda Rush" (amazing song - one
of the best songs this year - killer dance track); "Dance Dance"; "Good Girl's Gone Bad"; "A Little
Bit" (insanely catchy chorus); Something To Talk About" and "Where You Are".

The album
is just under 50 minutes and so remains fresh throughout. Booty Luv try something different with the
last track on the album "Where You Are". It's noticably different from any of the other tracks and
is a welcome cool-down and a worthy addition. The bonus remixes, surprisingly, are well worth a
listen. They give a great ending to an already great album.

I really like the album.
It's not pretending to be anything other than a fun pop/dance/house album. Booty Luv seems like an
antidote to boring conceptual music. It's light-hearted and I know I listen to it whenever I feel
down. It's no miracle worker but it helps.

Summary: Listen to the album before you review it...
Comment: Naturally it would always be nice if the people reviewing the products here had actually listened to
them, but at least one review which pulls Booty Luv to bits for their 'cheating' clearly hasn't been
based on listening to "Boogie 2Nite".

Yes, there are covers here - but of the 12 tracks
(let's exclude the remixes) 8 of them are originals with all the punch and Freemasons/Moto
Blanco-ish production that make them sound very 'now' to the average clubgoer. Of course, how may
people buying this album would actually be aware that any of the tracks are covers anyway? None of
them were hits in the mainstream sense.

Booty Luv's management take the originals that
for whatever reason were overlooked by the public (blame the original record labels, blame the radio
stations etc) and at least make some good songs accessible to a wider audience. Yes, the Freemasons
remix of Luther Vandross's "Shine" was far superior to Booty's version, but that single was very
badly served by the record label and only just scraped the top 40.

Next single "Some
Kinda Rush" - not a cover, and every bit as good as the previous singles.

Summary: Absolute Joke - Makes fun of real artists...
Comment: Ive been seeing 'Booty Luv' release rip off after rip off through gritted teeth for the past few
months, but having seen the other reviews of this album Ive finally gotta say something. These two
girls release a cheesy tune with 'Big Brovaz' that is worth nothiing musically apart from keeping
the more urban minded cheesy pop kids happy. So clearly, their follow up from this was equally as
awful, yet not as catchy and therefore they needed to somehow make a living elsewhere. The answer
for two of them is..... copying music from artists and putting it out there into the charts with
more vigour than those who had previously released it.
To those whom have listened and loved
this album, Citing the girls as talented and well worth listening to. What tunes did you like. My
guess is the tracks that they didnt make originally... Boogie 2Nite, Shine, Don't Mess With My Man,
Be Without You. Its not that theyve created a remix of originally R&B tunes, because many epople do
that and it does take some skill to create something different that works. the problem is that they
take remixes of those tunes, re-record them and thats it. they have literally made a bunch of cover
tunes. A couple of which are freemasons remixes which they must be mad about. whats the point in
making music if some stupid untalented pop flops are gonna take it and steal it, to use their
superior marketing and advertising power to sell it. all you people who listen to this bunch of
discraces are simply discouraging those who want to make these tunes originally. and if they hadnt
made the remixes, then they wouldnt be on this album. the day that they make a decent remix of their
own and not just sing others I will give them a tiny bit more respect. not much though... long live
original music.
