Comment: What can I say but WOW..!!! raise your hands in the air, defy you not to dance stuff the Old Hed Kandi was renound for when when MD was in charge of things..Stick it on the car stereo and drive, wind down the windows, or roll back the soft top with bass up( only for sunny warm days ) or to your lift your mood on a typical British day to transport you to sunnier climes....!! Totally fresh sounding CD, and if you're are fan of sexy vocal uplifting house and wondered where all the good tunes have gone, look no further..Don't why HK/Ministry waited until Oct to release this CD, as it smacks of the summer..def will be summer soundstrack for me for 2008 and feel a bit cheated took me so long to find it..!!..it's funny when Mark Doyle left HK and set up Fierce, both labels lost direction a bit, but HK back on track with this, and sounds as though nicked a few creative talents from the Fierce stable or industrial espionage committed, as this sounds so MD at his talented and creative best..Anyway down to business stand out tracks for me on CD1 are no 3 Lifting, no 5 Gimme Your Love, 7 Raise, 9 Move It, and 13 let the Music Spill, best for me being no5. Cd 2 is the slightly weaker of the 2, but overall not one bad track on either. The best tracks on Cd 2 are no5 Let You Down, 6 It's My Pleasure, 8 Lift your Voices , however would disagree with other reviewer and say that Lumberjack on cd2 is a bit mis-placed as it's too electronica sounding for the overall disco feel and flow..The cd's are not mixed so Dj and MP3/I-Pod list friendly..!! the loyal MD fans may decide to come back to HK if they listen to this..Purchase and Enjoy..!! Customer Rating: Summary: Still Disco Heaven Gets Better Yet! Comment: It was almost WAY too long to wait for this latest Disco Heaven but I was well worth the wait. This is the campest and most fab Disco Heaven yet. I love it so much! Disco Heaven just keeps getting better and better year after year despite all the changes at Hed Kandi. Disco Kandi series has turned to crap but Disco Heaven is still funky, screaming diva, disco house that way it has always been and the way it should be.... Unique US Garage and heavenly funky house= music that lifts my soul whenever I hear it. Standout tracks include: 'Lumberjack', 'Back Together', 'Let The Music Spill', 'Lifting' and 'Raise'. The only blot on the horizon is the first song on the first CD, 'And I'm Telling You' (mainly because I don't care for the song original or remixed).
