Editorial Reviews: Watch your backs, people, for the armour-plated Girls Aloud stretch hit-machine is swinging in to dock again and it will not wait for you to move out of the way. Au contraire--it literally has you in its full-beams. The girl group that many had, as a matter of course, written off the moment the TV talent show they won ceased transmission, hit the ground dancing furiously with album number four, covering as dizzying a myriad of styles as we have grown accustomed to, courtesy of celebrated pop production house Xenomania, with all the propulsive force of a freshly cracked atom (and the ability to still apply their make up without smudging). Tangled Up is draped in neon with strobe lights matching every throb of its very up-for-it pulse--there’s plenty for clubland to get excited about from the sleek Kylie-esque "Call the Shots", 80s chart-house of "Girl Overboard" and full-on drum ‘n’ bass (with not a hint of irony) on ‘What You Crying For’. Elsewhere the likes of the excellent styled disco "Can’t Speak French", Gwen Stefani overtones on the irresistible "Black Jacks" and vocoder future-power-funk of "Sexy! No No No..." amount to some of the best material they’ve released. If you wanted to be critical you could deem them mere mannequins off which these peerlessly crafted songs hang, but everything’s such a perfect fit those complaints seem moot. Sets a high benchmark for pop music in 2007. --James Berry

Customer Rating: Summary: Another wicked album from the girls Comment: This album is one of their best to date,i also have their new album out of control,which is wicked as well,look out for my review on their new album coming up in a couple of weeks,also look out for my reviews on thier other albums aswell.Anyway lets get into each track: Call the shots-10/10 This was girls alouds second single,which was a brillant choice,the video was cool as well , one of my favourites off the album Close to love-10/10 A really funky uptempo song,the chrous is wicked another of my favourites Sexy NO NO NO-10/10 A rock/pop uptempo song,wicked video as well Girl overboard-10/10 This track is wicked,one of my favourites,a rock/pop uptempo number love the chrous Can't speak french-10/10 I loved this song when i first heard on the album,i still love it now,the video was wicked as well Black jacks-10/10 A brillant song very rock/pop one of my favourites Control of the knife-10/10 Another brillant track really good chrous Fling-10/10 I feel that people will either love or hate this song,as you can tell i love this song very catchy chrous,a favourite of mine What you crying for-10/10 A brillant uptempo pop song,another of my favourites I'm falling-10/10 I really like this uptempo song,all the girls sound wicked on this song,one of my favourites Damn-10/10 A wicked uptempo tune,another favourite of mine Crocodile tears-9/10 A nice end to the album You need to add this album to your collection,if you are a fan of sugababes and if you love all the other stuff girls aloud have done. The only problem with this album is the cover,this cover would have been ok for a first album,but not for album number four,it is just plain boring, it would have been nice to have a lovely picture of the girls.Also i feel the other girls mainly kimberlery should have more singing time than just Nadine Customer Rating: Summary: Brilliant Comment: This album is fantastic i would defenitly buy it if you are a big girls aloud fan. Comment: I must say that Girls Aloud have been better than this... This album is quite bad, with many non-catchy songs. Call the shots and sexy no,no, is no way near their rival groups' singles. Their singles is way better. Take for example their No 1 singles Push the button, Hole in the head or About you now, these have that little extra that the Girls Aloud singles DON'T. BUT,If you had to pick out one of these songs that you had to hear one more time, it has to be Can't speak french, witch is almost... okey to listend to. Sorry, this album is very disapointing!
