The sushi releases have beena bit hit n miss since mark dyle left hed kandi..some are good but this ranks very badly..couldnt believe the poor quality control on this one. There are 2or 3 good tracks...namely Joey negros sunburst band and the maxine hardcastle track and maybe 1 other but thats it really. Check out fierce disco which mark doyle complied but this is poor indeed. I really hope hed kand i get there act together again Customer Rating: Summary: All Filler No Killer Comment: I've been a big fan of the Stereo Sushi series but this really does nothing for me. Gone are the big tunes like Negrocan - Cada Vez, Hardsould - Back Together, Its full of filler tunes, you know the type of tunes the DJ would slot in between these big tunes to thin the dance floor a bit, CD 1 is bad but CD 2 is a hell of alot worse, Gone are the tunes that send a tingle down your spine, Sorry but its just not happening with this album Customer Rating: Summary: SUSHI SO GOOD! Comment: Well, what can I say, only this is the best Sushi album out for a while! It is jampacked full of quality productions from the likes of Sunburst Band, Miguel Migs, Danism, Jill Scott, Kimara Lovelace & Richard Earnshaw. Anyone looking for the twisted sound of earlier sushi albums (Sashimi...ahem) will have to look elsewhere, as this is purely for people who enjoy the more soulful side of House. Version 12 (already, can you believe it?!) is an essential release! BUY NOW!! Customer Rating: Summary: I love this album! Sushi12 is a good step up. Comment: One of last Stereo Sushi albums was all electro & completely threw me off what the albums were supposed to be all about. This new one actullay looks really good. Thankfully by the looks of this one, they got their heads back & screwed on tightly! Some pretty cool tracks on the album. Jill Scott, Yass & Yolanda Wynn are all faves of mine but some top house tunage from Lisa Mac and MR V as well. Too many good tracks to chose from but I'll be buying this on Monday!!
