Back to Cream Ibiza: Mixed By Paul Van Dyk
Spotlight customer reviews:

Summary:
So edgy and in your face and smooth on two discs
Comment:
The first disc is basically a smooth lower bpm and disc two. I prefer disc two but together - great
great mix.
You will not be disappointed. Disc two is worth the money in itself.

Surprisingly excellent
Comment:
It's been a few years since I've bothered with Cream mix CDs, as in my opinion there's been a fair
few duds along the way. This, however, is not one of them. PvD delivers two absolutely stonking
mixes, which for me do almost a good a job of capturing the spirit of the island as Tiesto's In
Search of Sunrise 6.
If you're expecting wall-to-wall trance, then the first disc is
likely to disappoint you. Ibiza's not just about Trance though, so if you can open your mind a
little you'll find a selection of excellent tracks, all mixed with PvD's usual flair.
/>The second disc is more trancey, but still retains that balearic feel. Over all, this is
definitely one of my favourite compilations this year, and for the price you can't go wrong.

Stunning mix of acapellas and rare tracks!!
Comment:
This CD is really brilliant. I have to say when I saw the price tag- to have two CDs mixed by PVD
himself as part of the Cream label was rare to see. I'm used to CDs being mixed for a maximum of
10-15 seconds or less, but this houses MANY tracks on the first CD and about 20 on the second.
Mixing in the CD doesn't sound rushed and is spot on, but the tracks can be very short in length-
some of these are less than 50 seconds, which can be disappointing because there's a lot of build-up
and then you get onto the next track.
All in all, I think this is a worthwhile CD, with
the first one being the best (electro, house), despite myself being a trance fanatic! You must buy
this!!

No Killer Tracks
Comment:
Read the very complimentary reviews & knew of P.V.D's previous and thought I'd give it a crack. - V.
disappointed. Disc one is a mess with a mixture of Chill, Trance, Euphoric, Funk & Electro all
slapped together with no coherent thought or mixing. Disc 2 has more Trance but again no 'killer
tracks'. I'd definately listen to it first b4 purchasing. Don't be fooled by previous reviews.
Customer Rating:
Summary:
Best Trance album i've bought in a long time
Comment:
After his previous release 'In Between', which I thought was a complete and utter flop, PVD has
redeamed himself and shows us why he is one of the best DJs in the world.
If you love
trance, you will not be dissapointed! And for under a tenner....BARGAIN!
