Summary: Wish I was There......
Comment: Well, after listening to the CD for many years, I was delighted when I heard the DVD edition was on
it's way and didn't hesitate in buying it. I must say I was NOT disappointed at all with this DVD
and is probably my favourite DVD so far. Along with the great music I have to say it was the most
fantastic light show I have ever seen at a live concert and the guitar solo at the end of
"Comfortably Numb" has to go down as one of the greatest solo's and best pieces of rock music ever
to be seen.Buy it now, you wont regret it.

Summary: Long in the tooth now, but a couple of points
Comment: Not being blessed with the cutting edge replay gear that some (most?) of us ageing hippies possess,
I'd like to comment on the disc from a stereo/crt viewpoint. Breathtaking. You end up flaked out in
your seat like the guy in the Time mini-vid. If you've watched this on an LCD wide-screen with
skinny speakers, the stupid mid and a Fat Old Sub I can only feel pity, and hope you hear it on
something man-sized eventually. One day I'll afford plasma, but I'll never lose the period Yam
NS1000's that allow Sam's voice to sidle inside your heart and gradually snip the arteries away. Or
the stool-less Animal to poach your kidneys with the toms and fry your eyelids with the cymbals.
Nobody seems to have mentioned Money, but you won't find a better version than this. At one point
there's a percussion break so loud that it makes the girls duck - my only ever use for the A-B
control. And the staging - you will never at any point of your now ebbing life see more spectacular,
vibrant and just such 'accentational' lighting, and stuff the flying pigs. All that effort with the
glitterbal for just one number, the eerie preying mantis projection screen and the bizarre
roto-toms. This was not a gig that they made a profit from, oh no. This was a gig to INDUCE global
warming. So Sam's not Clare, and Animal's only Nick's human Zimmer but by the end of disc II you
have only one option - hit Play again. I'm sure your neighbours will think the same.

Summary: Pulse - absolutely fantastic experience!
Comment: Just bought Pulse on dvd along with the double cd version.

Wow! This is one amazing
concert! I only got into the music of Pink Floyd last year and am slowly collecting their albums
now. This is the first time Ive actually seen footage of them in concert - apart from watching bits
on Youtube.

All I can say is that the music and special effects in Pulse are
mindblowing and not to be missed!

It would have been 1000% perfect if Echoes (from
Meddle) was included.

Highly recommended.

Summary: THE Best music DVD
Comment: The best live concert on DVD, no question.

Best concert i ever saw. When you think
this was almost 15 years ago it's staggering. Not only that but to think they had a duplicate
lighting rig at the next venue because it took so long to assemble/disassemble between shows
indicates how no holds barred this was! Apparently Earls Court was chosen as it was the only venue
that could take the rig indoors and even then they had only 12 inches to spare each side! I'll never
forget the airplane or the explosion of the disc at the very end!

Buy it, put it
through your hi fi, crank it up, sit back with a drink and enjoy!!! The Comfortably Numb Guitar solo
is one of the best ever live solos recorded (buy it for that alone!- and i'm a Gary Moore fan!)

Summary: Stunning!
Comment: I was fortunate enough to be at one of the Earls Court shows back in 1994, and at the time I was
still dizzy from the release of "The Division Bell" (very under-rated in my book). When the chance
came to actually see the band, I grabbed it with both hands. This dvd has captured things absolutely
perfectly.
The picture quality is fantastic, the sound amazing, and the compilation of all of
the shows is just wonderful.
Yes, it was fabulous to witness "Dark Side of the Moon", but the
one over-riding memory, captured so brilliantly here, is the mirror-ball in "Comfortably
Numb"...Gilmour is tearing the place apart with a sublime solo, and the simplest of effects is
unleashed and it just floors me everytime.
If you are even remotely interested in Pink Floyd,
this has got to be a must have dvd.
