Summary: Class film, you should watch it, very funny as well.
Comment: OK, basically you should definately watch it. Its fantastically acted, the main guy (Scott Ryan) is awesome. Its very funny as well and I tip my hat to the big guy for writing and directing it as well. Its a bit short though, but I guess thats the sign of a good film. Actually it's not the sign of a good film at all, i mean if you make a 3 minute film about a bowl of greyhound sick, it's not neccesarily good, it could well be garbage. Not that a 3 minute film about greyhound sick is always going to be crap, it could be done well, i'm not sure how, but if i had to pick someone to direct "The bowl of Greyhound Sick", it would be Scott Ryan. The role of the sick looks like its going to Stephen Dorff.

Summary: Best Australian Film for ages!
Comment: When Melbourne hit-man Ray Shoesmith discovers that his next-door neighbour is a film student, he commissions him to document his life, and It's not the violence that's the centre of attention, but conversation, the banalities and intensities of human interaction, and obsessive interest in detail.
The film looks like it owes some debt to `Man Bites Dog', and `The Last Horror Movie' but that's quite a good starting position for influences!

The writing is entertaining and moving, as the hit-man considers himself a man of morals, just with a terrible job. There's plenty of twisted logic and morality, but it's refreshing to have reasons for the slaughter!

Very black, but very enjoyable too!
