Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: 3 Great films Comment: Ok, so the third is the weakest, but it is still a great film. the first two are classics, and simply can't be beaten, i guess people are just going to have to accept that. overall, this trilogy is probably one of the best ever made, and that's probably because there was no studio interfering with it. entertaining, well directed, heartfelt even, and last but not least, good stories. now that's something we don't get very often. can't wait for the future. nuff said. Customer Rating: Summary: fantastic boxed set Comment: great packaging & 6 dvds,i paid £40.00 for this excellent trilogy.the original terminator is the best,then t2 but t3 is missing something.if you dont know the story of kyle reese,sarah connor,john connor & the relentless cyborg terminators of the future you have either been on the moon or maybe cryogenically frozen ? do yourself a favour buy the dvds & enjoy the action.i am currently enjoying the t.v series on virgin 1 .great stuff ! Customer Rating: Summary: why didn't they stop at 2? Comment: This trilogy is typical of others. First film fantastic, second different situation and just as good, third a parady of itself. If you dont know the story where have you been. Number one, Arnie is a killer cyborg sent to kill the mother of the leader of the human resistance in the future. A human is sent back to help her and then they chase each other. CGI a bit jittery but hay this is from 1984! Number two, Arnie is sent back in time again but this time to save the leader of the human resistance who is just a kid. The killer cyborg is a new model that is made of liquid metal so can form sharp pointy things to stab people with. The effects are incredible!!! Number three, well it has good effects and some of the set peices are good. but its just the same story again. Don't get me wrong its a good story but after a while it gets boring and not interesting. So if I were you I would get the box set with just the first two. Its cheaper and you wont have to find a use for terminator 3. A christmas decoration maybe. Customer Rating: Summary: Prepare to be Terminated! Comment: This trilogy is amazingly good. Arnold Schwarzenegger is fantastic as the machine assassin created in the future by other machines and sent back in time. The first film involves him assassinating the leader of the human resistance in the future before he is even born and fails in that mission. The next two films are about him protecting the leader as a child/young adult from more advanced terminator creations. The storyline has been marvelous and I can't wait for Terminator 4 to come out which is supposedly the start of a new trilogy involving the war between the humans and the machines in the future. Hopefully it will be as good as the matrix trilogy, if not better. So buy this trilogy - however it is £4 cheaper at dvd.co.uk inc. free delivery. More Reviews
