Please don't believe the reviews that give this rubbish 5 stars, it is so totally tedious I thought about chewing off my right leg just to stay awake. There really is nothing interesting or remotely clever about it, and it gets worse when you have to listen to the same dull story at least 10 times. Stay away! Customer Rating: Summary: Not very interactive - but still fun Comment: In this game you see in flashbacks each character's description of the night's events to the police. Each character takes about 10 minutes and much of the footage is repeated in different characters flashbacks. Although this is quite repetitive you must watch and listen for any discrepancies and clues. As far as interactivity in this part, you can choose the order you see the flashbacks and re-watch them as necessary. After you have watched each person's story you select which characters you think are lying. If you are wrong then GAME OVER and you could try again (though you can skip the clips if you don't want to watch them again). If you are right you move on to the next stage where you get more info from the characters that were lying before choosing who you think is the murderer. You then get a different endings depending on who you accused and whether you deduced correctly or not. Although the acting is quite wooden in places and the footage somewhat repetitive this is still good fun for who-dunnit fans if you think of it as a film with a bit of an interactive challenge thrown in. Customer Rating: Summary: Very Disappointing Comment: I received this as a Christmas present after reading positive reviews and "suggesting" my husband got it for me. It was very slow and repetitive - a real shame as I had been looking forward to it. It will be going in the next charity bag that arrives!! Customer Rating: Summary: NO STARS!!! Comment: This is rubbish - do not waste your money. The synopsis above is a lie - it does not have "many alternative endings". You sit through hours of people's statements and have to pick who you think is NOT lying. If you don't get this right you cannot move on. You then have to re-question the suspects (listening to more boring statements) and try and work out who the killer is. It is not entertaining or fun. I would rather eat my cat litter tray than play this game again. Buy something good like the Poirot interactive DVD. Customer Rating: Summary: Dreadful Comment: Well, what can I say. I read the other reviews and thought, this sounds good. Ordered it and as soon as it arrived I had to play it. My God. I wasted 2 and a half hours of my life watching this dross. Maybe I didn't play it right. I don't know. But I was bored to tears, having to watch 10 different suspects with virtually the same scenes repeated over and over again, to get to the very end, and if I hadn't got the right suspect, had to start all over again. Most disappointing. Most boring, and I'm glad I did not spend much on it. Will be going to the car boot sale.
