Summary: Segal Back At His Best, But The Movie Is Poor
Comment: Steven Segal hasn't really been up to form lately, his films lacking his usual demeanour which makes him the king of his domain, but in this latest offering, Segal is tough, and his acting is better than it has been. I quite liked Under Siege and the sequel, but this had a lot of flaws.

1) Segal never gets hurt - I think that's pretty unrealistic. Amazing how the hoods never get to really damage him?

2) His enemies are really annoying - by the middle of the film you wish he'd just get furious and kill everyone on the film, except that girl and Gareth.

It's very typical of his type of movie too, his son dies and he vouches to get revenge, that's about it. It's becoming a cliché in action films now, they could have been a bit more inventive with it.

Not the worst thing ever, but it could have been much better. At least Segal was good in this, shame the rest was poor.

Summary: STEVEN'S BACK!!
Comment: Wow! The best he's made since his glory days in the early 90s. This is a vigilante film in the style of "Out for Justice" (which is my favorite Seagal film ever), and it's tough as ever. If you liked Out for Justice or Hard to Kill, you will like this one as well.

Summary: About time!
Comment: I don't want to give to much away because if you are seagal fan...and you have waited an age for a film that goes up there with his best...then it wouldn't be fair to spoilt it for you...So what can i say about it?

Well the storyline is nice n simple..Loadsa blood n guns... with loadssss of fighting...Mr seagal puts alot of effort in here. wich baught a smile to me because i thought for ages he just point blank wasn't interested....and if your reading this thinking...yea but whats all the hype about? well he's back in form in this outing.. can i prove it ? yea i can...theres one scene where bad guy gets kicked & kneed in the Nuts about 8 times then volleyed in the face down a flight of stairs...See what i mean by effort... He clearly had fun making this film so do yourself a favour n sit back and enjoy watching it... the big mans back.

Summary: Much Much Better
Comment: Yes some of Steve's DTV films are terrible but this is a really good B movie with some great fights. Don't expect a big budget and the DVD quality is limited but its great fun. Steve really kicks arse and there is plenty of fights and shoot outs to keep the action fan happy. This is good sub £10 buy and offers good replay value.

Summary: Getting back on form..... at last
Comment: I bought this thinking it was going to be as bad as the last few offerings but was happily proven wrong.
Yup, it's a simple story but simple works sometimes. When I want something complicated I'll reach for one of my world cinema DVDs but sometimes I want a couple of good scraps and to see some stuff get blown up.
It's clear who the bad guys are and they get a good kicking and there's none of that ex-cia/ secret agent rubbish. Just a few hints at a shady past.
Let's hope we are heading back into "Nico" country.

I'd have given it the 5th star if it wasn't for the attempts at artsy flashbacks that didn't add to the story. Some better extras on the DVD wouldn't hurt either although I never watch them!!
