It repeats itself terribly in its context and the picture quality isn't great compared to other Blu-Ray discs. There are far better wildlife DVD's out there. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Value Comment: I purchased this on the reviews already here and I have not been disappointed. I love watching anything to do with nature and as we are new to blu ray are very slowly building a collection. This is one of this discs you can definitely watch again and again. Yes there is a small amount of repetition but it does not distract from the overall excellent quality of the content and narration. Also, after ordering this from Amazon I was at a well known store in town the next day and they were selling it for £30.00! If you love nature programmes then this is a must for your collection. Customer Rating: Summary: Very nice but..... Comment: A series of three overlapping programmes about the galapogos islands. Visually it's very nice but each episode overlaps, not in repetition but in content. you do for example get to hear about tortoises in three different, but similar ways, also two different kinds of dragons in perhaps 5plus different ways. I fell asleep about 2 hours into it, when I awoke we were on tortoises again. Conclusion visually pretty, content wise an hours video dragged out for two and a half hours. The narration is in the style of Lord Of The Rings which is a little naff but is so full of amazing facts that it wasn't a bother. The visual imagery is so wonderfully shot and seemles, viewed on a projector, it literally did take my breath away! Customer Rating: Summary: Stunning! Comment: This blu-ray disc is simply stunning. It appears more of the footage is in HD than on Planet Earth and it shows. Some of the underwater footage, the resolution and the colour takes your breath away.
