Summary: the best
Comment: This film actually rules i watched this before seeing the original and was blown away by how brutal and realistic, but also how well the charcters develop throughout the film. having now seen the 78 version i relaise how good the zombie version is, its developed every flaw and undeveloped aspect of the original and made it something really special.

Summary: Michael Myers
Comment: I got the Michael Myers Unrated Directors cut today from Amazon.com and it's excellent. We see Michael Myers human side and he also speaks too.
I also recognise the character called Danielle Harris who was Jamie Loyd in Halloween 4 and 5. The DVD has alot of extras in it and I am glad I got it. We also understad why Michael was angry because his homelife was a mess with everyone picking on him. He did love his mother though.

I give Halloween Unrated Directors Cut 5 Stars!

Summary: Thank God
Comment: I hate remakes, everyone that has come out has simply copied from its source in fact the only remake worth mentioning are The Blob (1988 remake) The Thing and thats it...this movie however did something different. Rob Zombie set out to create the awesome flawless classic into his own movie, making a prequel opening that explores Myers in a way the other sequels never did since Halloween 2! Kudos to Zombie I enjoyed this movie greatly and even the suckers who like remake will lap this up!!! A great movie, buy the REgion one version the Uk one will be cut!!

Summary: a great classic story updated for 2007
Comment: the 1978 movie of halloween is such a classic that i was suprised why someone would want to try to remake it ! but this is not just a remake, its
more an updated story about michael myers childhood, the murder of his sister judith, the strange rapport between him & dr samuel loomis in smithfield sanitaruim.how he becomes obsessed with masks & of course his
escape on october 31st to pursue laurie his youngest sister.this is far more gory than the original film ,but what do you expect from the director of "devils rejects ?" a very enjoyable updated story from cult
director rob zombie.buy the r1 uncut directors 2 disc version.

Summary: HALLOWEEN MASTER PIECE
Comment: This film is some what different from the john carpenter version although john carpenter is a legend this version he would be proud of this film looks at the reasons behind michaels madnes and explains from the young days upto his adult hood of what made him do it through to the end where he's after lorrie strode with a different style ending which makes this movie along with the rest of the film Rob Zombies master piece i hope he manages this again in the sequel. full respect to you Rob Zombie we love you.
