Good, but still so much room for improvement.
Comment:
I'll admit I'm only upto the 3rd race at the first Thruxton meeting, but I feel I've seen enough to write a representative reviews.
The content of the DVD is good, in as far as there's plenty of coverage. However, this footage is very much a cut-and-paste job by Duke, as there's no new material and it doesn't always flow very nicely.
The lap counter making it obvious when big cuts are taken is a particular annoyance.
It's wishful thinking, but for next year's review, it really needs to be a "review", not a collection of outtakes from the TV coverage throughout the year.
It would be really nice to see the races re-edited, particularly Race 3 which is just a cut version of the live broadcast. ITV have plenty of unseen footage that Duke could work with, and it's a disappointment not to see that feature in the DVD.
The lack of any extras - not even the ones shown on the ITV broadcasts last year - is not really acceptable.
