Customer Rating: Summary: Great film not such a great soundtrack!!Comment: 'PS I Love You' is ultimately the best film I have seen in years!! THe songs in the film are so intense to the plot, it had me crying and laughing all the way through. The soundtrack has some fantastic songs on it, but I was disappointed that my favourite song, Galway Girl, sung by Gerard Butler in the film is not included. This also goes for Hilary Swank's karaoke rendition of Get Off by Prince. All in all, a great soundtrack that reminds you of very intimate moments in the film. A must buy - both the film & soundtrack!!!Customer Rating: Summary: Some of the most memorable songs are not on the soundtrackComment: This CD has some great songs which will instantly remind you of the movie (If I Ever Leave This World Alive, Love You 'Till the End), and others which are great on their own (my personal favourite is P.S. I Love You by Nellie McKay, though this is quite an old song, the lyrics and the melody fit the story so well, it could have been written for this movie). My big complaint is that even though these tracks are enjoyable, I think most of those who saw the movie buy the soundtrack because of some very memorable music moments: Gerry's funeral, the karaoke songs, and one of the best moments of the film: the Galway Girl rendition. And all these tracks are missing!! They are not on the Soundtrack!! I think it is unforgivable not to put the songs sung by the actors when there are so many great and memorable performances, and since these moments are crucial to the story!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Shame about the musicComment: I loved this film so much i have a pre-order for it. But looking at the CD Soundtrack i'm quite suprised how poor some of the music is, and one of my favourite songs in the movie isn't even on here; Galway Girl.
Customer Rating: Summary: Ps I would love you more if...Comment: This a great soundtrack but is let down by some really good songs not being included. Such songs include: Fairytale of New York, Galway girl and Mustang Sally. There were so many good songs though that they should bring out a second soundtrack.
