Summary: Unbelievably bad,one to avoid
Comment: This film is a Comedy with no laughs! Typically American, telling a story with a message of underlying morality.A Bullying Teacher who only bullied schoolchildren with their best interests at heart. Not a bad-guy but mis-understood.Yeh,right!! Don't even consider watching this film,it cost me two hours of my life that i can never recover.Don't make the mistake i made in watching this nonsense.

Summary: Funny & realistic
Comment: After reading the mixed reviews I thought I had made the wrong choice in renting the film. But I really enjoyed it. It is intelligent humour with a great story line and reaches out to those you prefer a mopre sophisticated comedy rather than an in your face lewd humour.
If you like the former then this is definatley worth a rent.

Summary: it's okay
Comment: I have some things to say about this movie when i saw it it was funny and when i saw it for the second time the humour was not that funny,so what i am saying is the humour in this is not something you would laugh at that much it's just something that's funny once but then just starts to get old.The next thing about this movie is that i was surprised it was a 12 for a film that's aged 12 the language in it was inappropriate, it had a lot of adult language..the films ok but a bit dull. So if you want a comedy that's not too funny just something to make you laugh a small amount this is for you.

Summary: Great cast but didn't deliver
Comment: I had great expectaions for this film. Billy Bob Thorton and Sean William Scott. I really thought hey this film should be a gas. However, the laughs just were not delivered. Sure there is the odd part that you get a little chortle out of but mostly the film is pretty much "been done before" I couldn't help but relate some of the plot to that of "Just Friends".

this film might appeal to some people that are big fans of Billy Bob thornton and Sean william Scot. But other than that give it a miss unless you want to just chill out on a Sunday afternoon and get a light laugh.

Summary: Irritating Comedy!
Comment:
Mr Woodock (Billy Bob Thornton) is well cast as the sargeant major gym teacher at high school who puts his pupils through a humilating wringer, one of his class 'Farley' (Sean William Scott) is a particular favourite pupil, due to having a bit of puppy fat present he gets some special attention from Woodock, but lo and behold later in life becomes a slim writer of mentoring and life enhancement books. Before bumping into Woodock again in an excruciatingly awkward way potentially for both of them. Yes, this does sound pretty samey so far, its a never offensive quite funny standard comedy, but nothing more I'm afraid, a sort of sunday afternoon lazy watch rather than a nailed on must see. If you liked Thornton in 'Bad Santa' you might find this o.k., if not it is similar ground and you would be forgiven for giving this a miss.
