Watched it a few times and it's still funny each time I watch it. I'm McLovin this film, oh yeah baby! Customer Rating: Summary: Laughed my ass off! Comment: Classic teenage comedy. This is a brilliant film about three school geeks who plan on going to a party to be with some girls, so they volunteer to get the booze, but it was never going to be that simple. With constant run-ins with two hilarious police and a fake I.D. that just says "McLovin" it's definitely put itself into one of my favourite comedy films along side Borat. I couldn't recommend it enough and the picture is stunning with great menu's and great sound. A definite must-buy for everyone, just because it's a teen movie doesn't mean only teens can watch it. Comment: I read so many rave reviews on how good this film was that the purchase was a 'no brainer'...however, little did I know that it was obviously something in common with the people who wrote the reviews...and it's exactly what you need to watch it. I sat there waiting for the funny bits to materialise, a slight smirk the most I could manage...and the two LA cops...what was going on there? American teen movies for American's I guess, shame, because American Pie made the transition across the pond. The transfer to Blu-ray is very good, pity the content is nowhere near the tranfer quality... Customer Rating: Summary: Probably the funniest movie for the past 10 years! Comment: I saw this movie when it came out on DVD and let me tell you, if you liked American Pie, then you will be falling of your seat with fits of laughter. This movie has the most amazing characters and funny jokes. I knew I just had to have this on Blu-ray, and I am so glad I did eventually buy it. It's a great bargain price for a blu-ray film especially as you get an extra disc for special features. A definite purchase for your blu-ray collection. Customer Rating: Summary: Great movie Comment: This is not Schindler's list so don't expect anything with a good story , this is just the sroty of 3 teenagers trying to buy alcohol in order to be popular with girls and maybe get laid. What follows is a something in between American Pie and South Park , the main character ,Seth , is inspired in Cartman and he is both funny and annoying. The secondary characters are also very funny and Michael Cera provides a bit of romance in the movie. The 2 cops are the most surreal part of the movie to the point of nearly ruining it. This is an overall 4/5 movie entertaining and funny and full of rude jokes. The Extras are almost useless , the outtakes are not as amusing as the real movie. More Reviews
