Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: An Okay Romantic Chick-Flick. Comment: I rented this out as I like Sarah Michelle Geller and think she's a pretty cool actress. It's about young Brett wanting her dreams of being a editor pushed forward but her job is running her down and not getting her anywhere. So when she meets playboy Archie, attraction hits high and they soon fall in love with each other. But when their romance hits the rocks by him cheating on her and lying about his drinking, she begins to think about their age-gap and their doomed relationship. Okay, it's not the best chick-flick around and doesn't end happily but it's something different nowdays and is worth seeing for the pefomances of Geller and Alec Baldwin. Customer Rating: Summary: A relationship with an older man Comment: Probably not a film to invite you friends round to see as it is not a teen movie or a romcom. However it is a good film that I will watch again. The 2 leads are very good in a story about a young woman embarking on a relationship with an older man. It also has an excellent soundtrack. The story and the way it is filmed seems like a group of students have made it on a budget, it isnt believable in the slightest sarah michelle gellar sleeping with alec baldwin (EWWW give me a break!) I have NO idea why it is called surburban girl or what it is supposed to be about its the most ridiculous waste of time I have ever endured. I wouldnt waste your time (im sorry SMG!!!)
