Comment: the film title is missing the words carry on from the beginning it has more in common with carry on films than casanova or whatever film the marketing people thought they were promoting. its just bad. How they got this cast to appear in this utter rubbish I will never know! Don't let the list of names involved fool you - this is awful. It's like a carry-on film without even any humour - it stinks! Comment: There haven't been the words created yet to describe this utter pile of tosh but basically if you like the idea of watching a badly cast, disjointed, bawdy film,where the characters could have come right out of any of the 'Carry Ons ' along with many of the 'actors', then perhaps you will enjoy this pile of rubbish, I'd rather watch paint dry. I feel terribly guilty for actually spending some of my hard-earned cash on this DVD. The two leads, Mischa Barton and Hayden Christensen have absolutely no on-screen charisma at all. The film is meant to be a romantic comedy, but fails at even that. The "comedic" lines in the script fall flat most of the time, and the mix of British and American actors means that even the setting of 14th Century Italy is unbelievable - how can we believe that this is Medieval Italy in the time of the Black Death when there are people with British and American accents running around and making ridiculously unfunny remarks at each other? I couldn't even finish watching this - I got to the convent and had to switch off. Don't bother watching this, as it isn't even worth your time, let alone your money. Comment: Virgin Territory was a highly funny refreshing sexual film, in today fear of sexuality and expressing of true erotic love it was refreshing to see a film that didn't shy away from it.
