Comment: hey, guys, i saw this film at the cinema when it came out and at first i was sceptical about the quality of some spoof films, such as "scary movie" - i just dont get some of the americanized humour... however, i got to say, i laughed all the way through this film! By the end of it, my stomach hurt so much... It is a rare thing, to laugh during a comedy - but to laugh all the way through!?!!?? Customer Rating: Summary: Not as bad as everyone is saying but not that good either Comment: I really didn't have a problem with this movie. It was just like an average comedy, maybe with a weaker storyline with more gags. I loved the parts when they were taking the mick out of the gayness of the Spartans from the original film 300. I also like the insults they threw at each other in the word-off. I think this film is a million times better than The Epic Movie, which is really rubbish! Give this film a watch but just don't pay for it at full price. Customer Rating: Summary: This film is good, whats wrong with everyone? Comment: If you like spoofs and comedy and have seen 300 then you should buy this,don't listen to these other people, if you dont have a sense of humor dont bother buying it! Customer Rating: Summary: Mildly amusing ... Comment: Like a lot of spoofs the humour can be real touch and go stuff and this had quite a number of misses. It made me laugh once or twice and smile frequently but I'd advise not buying this untill is in the £4-£5 bagain bin .... It's okay to pass some time with but not brilliant Customer Rating: Summary: Poor! Comment: I am beginning to wonder why I continue to buy these movies.... maybe 1 in 10 are funny. Firstly, many 'jokes' are spoofs related to American adverts or shows, so many of the 'jokes' mean nothing to anyone outside the US. Secondly, they milk the jokes.... a good comedy makes a joke and carries on, this film seems to just keep on and on, and what may have been funny is funny no longer.... typical example is the pit of death. Quite funny the first time, second OK..... twentieth (seriously!) NOT funny. Thirdly, the product placement, at first think it is a funny dig at product placement in the movie industry, but when it is again on the twentieth instance, I am actually wondering if it is exactly what they are ripping........ especially as they use real products and companies and not spoof companies. Please steer clear of this movie........ More Reviews
