Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Top Notch Comedy for ALL the familyComment: I agree with the last review, I too have this on pre order, the only difference in my review is that although the first series after Kris left was a tad iffy, since then it has gone from strength to strength, S8 was very good, the downside of the DVD's are no extras, but some have been filmed recently, whether they will be on this disc of series 9 is unknown.
Customer Rating: Summary: Back to its best!Comment: After a couple of dodgy series with 5 & 6, series 8 picks up from where series 7 left off continuing with the witty one-liners we love this show for. I would have given this series 5 stars had Kris Marshall joined the cast but i don't think he will be back unfortunately. One major highlight of this series however, is that it is the last we will see of the entirely unfunny Abi. She was created to be a British version of Phoebe from Friends but it just never seemed to work.
