It sports a bright, backlit LCD display - you'll always know exactly which station you're tuned to. Setting the frequency is easy with the convenient switch on the side of the iTrip. But you won't have to adjust the settings very often -- iTrip remembers its settings for convenience. The iTrip's selectable LX or DX modes of broadcasting allows you to adjust for the absolute best possible audio under real-world conditions. Even in large cities with lots of radio stations crowding the dial, iTrip's DX Mode delivers a clear, punchy signal iTrip Dock Connector requires no batteries, drawing its power directly from the iPod, so there's never a power issue to silence your tunes.

Customer Rating: Summary: Cheap, neat and simple Comment: Cheap, neat and simple, I find my iTrip pretty convenient. The sound quality is decent enough for me. Audiophiles may be disappointed but if you just want background music for driving then it's as good as tuning to any FM station. The important thing is to find a genuinely empty frequency to use- it doesn't work well on frequencies with any kind of existing signal on. The hardest place to do this, I've found, is around Birmingham. It's even useful for having a bath, because I can put my iPod in the room next door with the iTrip in, then take a little radio into the bath and not worry about getting my iPod wet. Customer Rating: Summary: its gr8 value for money Comment: this is a real gem i love it my car journeys are not the same without it the sound quality is really good yes there may be a few buzzes in the background but when the music is on you wont be able to hear it. The sound quality is very poor compared to my wired itrip. I compared them on the same stations and my wired one was much louder and clearly. I guess ive wasted £8.87 becuase im sticking with my wired itrip! Im giving it 2 stars, becuase the gadget is neat, slick and looks kool when attached to the ipod, however, what matters is the sound quality, and unfortunately it isnt good!
