It saves space and doesn't have as many wires as seperate speakers have. The connection for the ipod is great as its sturdy and it is fixed down properly, I have seen many cheaper speaker sets have poorly designed ipod connector and it falls off after a while due to the fact it hasn't been tightened properly. Overall it is 5/5! After reading all the reviews I could find on this product I was satisfied that this system would be a good choice. Unfortunately it wasn't. It comes with great features like video and audio outs, as well as hooking up your laptop/PC to it and using it as a dock. An easy and well laid out remote with plenty functions. Even the build quality was satisfactory. But the sound quality just wasn't what it is hyped up to be. Whenever it was turned on you can hear hissing in the back ground like an old cassette player. The clarity wasn't so clear and as soon as you crank it up a bit, the vocals and music would distort. This happened to me even with the bass at the lowest setting and the iPod EQ set to off. Mine could have been a one off dodgy unit. I can not knock the seller of this product as a full refund was offered straight away with no hassle and I would buy from them again. More Reviews
