Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Great Sound Comment: Intempo IDS05 B Speaker and Docking Station - Black I agree with the majority of other reviews that this speaker dock creates a great sound mainly due I think to the inclusion of a 9 watt subwoofer. Unfortunately it does not support recharching of the new Ipod Nano (4th generation), which is not mentioned in the product description. However, all other facilities are supported using the remote control. Was thinking of returning this item but so pleased with the sound that I decided to keep it. Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent for the money Comment: Bought this item so I could listen to my 160GB Classic iPod in the bedroom and was pleasantly suprised. For such a small item it gives really decent sound and is on a par or better than my 'Pure' DAB radio. OK it's never going to compare with the sytems priced around the £100 plus mark or Hi-Fi, but at £45 you can't go wrong. It's reasonably portable too and comes with a 'Euro' adapter (although you can't run it on batteries). I can only assume that the low scoring reviews were actually faulty items. Customer Rating: Summary: Not disappointed Comment: I listen to a wide range of music and am very particular about sound quality. I was, considering the price and size of this unit, expecting to be disappointed. Quite the opposite. Doubt you'd get a better quality anywhere for this price! The subwoofer is exceptional for its size and the unit has plenty of umph! I have also found it handy to pack in a weekend case. The the only slight problem is a transient distortion of treble on full whack. Well worth the money. Customer Rating: Summary: NOT COMPATIBLE WITH 3RD GENERATION NANO Comment: I recently purchased these speakers which are fine with my 30gb ipod, but don't work with my 3rd generation video nano - I was very dissapointed to discover they also have damaged my ipod - many of the songs now jump or cut out.
