The latter certainly one of his best latest, definitely superior to Harvest Moon, though conceptually much similar. As the songs in this life session sound very much the same as on the studio album (where Neil was, contrary to the recording on the DVD, assisted by some of his friends), this DVD confirms the idea that not much re-mixing or re-taking was done or needed for the studio album. Though not as charming as e.g. his early BBC session, this DVD certainly proves Neil is still there, playing true songs his own way. A must for the fans, a nice introduction for those who want to hear more than Rockin' in a free world. Rather Silver than Gold.
