Summary: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
Comment: Harry Potter spend the most of his ten years sleeping in the cupboard and he has never had a
birthday party.He was staying with his aunt and uncle and they were very cruel to him they didn't
show him the love of the family.Dudley was treating him so badly and he doesn't want other children
to befriend him.On his eleven birthday the owl send the letter to tell him that he must come to
Hogwards School of Witchgraft and Wizardy and this where he get best life.

Summary: Fairly Good Potter Book
Comment: O.K. Harry Potter is great, but the first one could be better, I suppose. It does have a lot of
action, but has a lot of boring parts. I feel it is O.K. but people will disagree and agree. It is
all down to your taste. If you like it, books like Mortal Engines and Harry Potter and the chamber
of secrets are good books like it. All together it is good!

Summary: Simply brilliant
Comment: A long time after watching the movies, I finally decided to listen to the books. Having a lot of
spare time in the car meant that the Audio CD's would be the best way to read the books, and Stephen
Fry has done this proud. I felt the Philosophers Stone movie was rushed but to read/listen to the
unabridged book was brilliant. Stephen Fry's voices and energy bring the book to life.
I was so
impressed I have just bought the Chamber of Secrets, and The Prisoner of Azkaban. I'll start saving
for the other 2.

Summary: It was okay, but.....
Comment: It is okay, but the problem is there is only *ONE* GUY doing all the reading! What *I* want is a
*DRAMATIZED* version, with all different people taking the parts, and different sound effects used,
to make it more life like. (Also, the CD's are mono, not stereo, so it sounds even more flat). I
sure wish they'd make a "drematized" version! ~Cindy!
