Comment: If you are a fan of Ally you will love this cd. All the songs which make the show great are on here
featuring the great voice of Vonda Shepherd. It's like having Ally's bar in your living room making
it the best place to escape from the world !.If music be the food of love then this is a romantic
dinner for two !

Summary: actually deserves no stars at all
Comment: well, i was looking at all your reviews and they all seemed to give fantastic scores, so to reverse
the trend, i decided to review the worst album i could think of , and this is it. you really have to
ask yourself, why? firstly, why ruin a fantastic programme with this ridiculous soundtrack, and
secondly, what was the point? okay, so her voice is okay, and so are the songs, but really, why
cover them in the most bland, souless fashion imagineable? the gimmick of the bar singer was fair
enough, but why have her reedy voice throughout the show when they aren't in the bar? and to top
it all off, putting the pitiful result onto CD and calling it an album? in short, a pathetic waste
of time, energy and money...

Summary: a great cd for anyone who is an Ally fan - or not
Comment: The only reason you would get this cd is if you have become familiar with Vonda Shepard who performs
on the show. However, I would recommend it for a wide variety of audiences. Vonda Shepard has a
great voice that has come into the limelight on account of the show. Although she has her own
releases, this is a great album with some familiar songs performed in a slightly different way. If
you do watch the show, there are a few songs that I was hoping for that were not put on this
release - hopefully, they will be included on the second cd. This cd will appeal to a wide
audience.

Summary: If you like the TV series, you will love this album
Comment: If you are an Ally McBeal fan you will love this CD. Each song really smacks of the show, making for
really inspriational listening. If you are not an Ally McBeal fan then you will not pick up on the
meanings behind each track but nevertheless you will still enjoy the songs. Vonda Shepherd has a
very distinctive voice - a sound that carries across all the songs which could be irritating to
some. My favourite is Ally's theme song "Tell Him" - a theme song I have adopted for myself (only
Ally McBeal fans will get this!). I also love "The End Of The World" a really sentimental song. I
could listen to this CD over and over; it really is uplifting.

Summary: Great Feel Good Album
Comment: If you're a fan of the Ally McBeal show this album is a must. Vonda Shepard is a very talented
artist who sounds just as good live if not even better. The Album contains great cover versions of
timeless classics which makes it a great car/party/doing the washing etc CD.
