It brings together all the musical elements from the first season and helps you relive some of those key moments. I've always liked the main title theme, but think Lucy Lawless excels singing 'Burial', the third track on the album. This album is a must for any Xena fan. Several tracks are based on the stirring main theme (original lyrics and a translation are provided), but there is enough variety to maintain interest throughout, from the discordant vocals of "The Wrath of Callisto", to the delicate air of "The Oracle". Interestingly, the haunting funeral song entitled "Burial" is composed by none other than Lucy Lawless - Xena herself. If you like Xena AND movie-quality sountrack music, this CD is a must!
