More Dirty Dancing
returns to the resort made famous by Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze in the smash-hit 1987 dance-movie-musical, picking-up where the original
Dirty Dancing
soundtrack left off with a brief instrumental version of the love theme "I've Had (The Time Of My Life)". As before this is a mix of new and old tracks, but here the effect is rather more authentic, with the old being classic rock & roll tunes, and the new a series of exciting dance numbers that sound entirely appropriate to the movie's 1963 setting. There are four such tracks by Michael Lloyd and Le Disc, a swinging foxtrot, and three hot Latin flavoured cuts, including Johnny's Mambo featured in the film as one of Swayze's big dance showpieces, and Lou Perez giving voice to the blistering "De Todo un Poco". Elsewhere The Shirelles offer their version of Carol King's "Will You Love Me Tomorrow", while perhaps in answer, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons remind us that "Big Girls Don't Cry", and The Drifters suggest that, anyway it's all ''Some Kind of Wonderful". Indeed, this is one sequel that tops the original, while for more spicy Latin melodies, check out soundtrack to
The Mambo Kings

Summary:
if your a true dirty dancer then u cant afford to not get it
Comment:
I thought this follow up to the soundtrack was even better than than the original one. It really has the spirit of the movie in it,and once played you are literally at Kellermans in 1960's. It has all the tracks as they appear in the film, not the radio version of song like on the first album aswell as the music to the dances themselves, so if u are a true fanatic of the film and have managed to pick up the moves then u will be sorted as you now have the music!

Great, but get the first album before you get this one!
Comment:
This is a great follow up album but not as good as the first one. If you're a real Dirty Dancing fanatic then you'll love it!
