How a man with such a superb voice has not had the recognition he deserves I will never understand.Superb album.

Summary:
A superb album. Andrew Strong is up there with Cocker!
Comment:
This is an album that everyone who loves good quality R&B should own. Quite why it is so difficult to get hold of Andrew's output these days is a complete mystery to me. 'Strong' showcases Andrew's voice beautifully and there are any number of tracks here that will fill you with joy (especially track 5). Do everything you can to track this one down - if you like Cocker, Lang, Coverdale, Hooker, Stevie Ray - or any of the really great Blues vocalists, you'll bloody love this one! Try and find his other albums too; 'out of time' and 'gypsy's kiss'. Good luck, it'll be a tough search but oh so very worth while! There has to be something really weird going on when an artist of Andrew's calibre is so sadly neglected by the major music retailers. Must be part of the conspiracy to try and induce us to listen to the endless manufactured tosh that clogs up the musical-wash basin of life. (Oh, and if you need a clue as to where you might have heard Andrew before, he played the singer in the film 'The Commitments'......)
