Pure 80s Genius...
Comment:
I first watched this film when i was about 8 years old and thought it was amazing! My three older brothers loved it and saw it as a classic that would stand the test of time, and i'm telling you, they were right! Im now 23 and actually configured my dvd player just so i could buy this american dvd, the biggest shame is that it is not available to buy in this country!
If you are a true lover of 80s movies and appreciate that it was an era full of cheese, classic tunes and crappy dialogue, then and only then can you fully enjoy such a film! There is no point comparing it to films from nowadays becuase there is nothing out there like it! The soundtrack is too good and takes me back to when i was a child, maybe i love this film because i grew up with it, but if im being honest, i just tihnk its a classic and definately worth buying! Man, woman and child can appreciate this film...
My children will be brought up with the Last Dragon dammit, just as i was... .^_^.

i first watched this film when i was about 9yrs old, 21yrs on still think it is fantastic!! it does not have your big stars and budgets, you know what it does not need them!! great fun and brilliant one liners make this film one of my all time favourite films, i have it on an old vhs i only wish i could get a region 2 dvd (i am considering going out and buying a multi region dvd player just to get it on dvd) if any one knows where to get one on region 2 please let me know!!!

The Last Dragon
Comment:
This is not just a martial arts fighting film.
It is actually a music (motown) film.
I originally saw this film when it was released in my teens (198?)and is probably now quite dated.
the film has some good fight scenes and if I remember correctly it has an early appearance of Jean Cluade Van Damme or however you spell his name.
This is quite a girly film. Not meaning to be sexist.

Wonderfull and splended movie
Comment:
I bought this DVD because i was told too , and now i do the same to you , this movie has realy good fighing sequences , story and the right amount of comedy to make you want to watch it again .
my only moan is that the at the end you knew what was gonna happen , I think the lack of big name actors hasnt ruined this film in anyway . The added widescreen Version on the opposite side of the DVD is a very nice idea and handy tool , shame we dont see this on more DVD's.
THIS IS A GOOD MOVIE even if you havent ever heard of it
