With the first few listens, it sounds truly awful, but after a while it evolves into a beautiful, strange and utterly compelling soundscape. The final track (the movie's title theme) runs for what seems like forever, with one long, single, astonishing guitar solo weaving melodies which seem to recall all the other tracks.
A fascinating, deeply moving collection which will leave you thoughtful and perhaps even speechless at the end of each listen.
