Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: TEACHER 2 soundtrack Comment: Teachers is such a great tv program with excellent story lines that are so funny to watch. The soundtrack to Teachers is one of the best soundtracks i have heard for a tv program in a long time. Some of the best tracks on this CD are performed by FEEDER, THE HIVES and STARSAILOR. The reat are great but for me these are the tracks i go back to time and time again. If you are a Teachers fan then you should take a look at the Teachers soundtrack 1 and the soundtrack 2. Also check out the Teachers DVDs as they are great. Customer Rating: Summary: Music for old teachers who would like to still be trendy Comment: As a teacher rapidly approaching 40, the programme annoyed me at first because it's so unrealistic. Then I realised it was actually very funny. Then I found myself noticing the music in the background and frequently saying "I wonder who that's by." Now I know. I know nothing about most of the bands on this compilation but I will be listening to more of their material after this. My particular favourites are Feeder, Turin Brakes, Starsailor and The Hives. So if, like me, you're a sad old fan of bands like The Clash and The Jam check out the bands who have taken over from them. You won't be disappointed. Customer Rating: Summary: Fabulous mix of music from the equally fabulous TV series Comment: Some wonderful tracks on this CD that would be welcome in most peoples collection, particularly melodious is the Kid Galahad Distant Sunshine but when you listen to this CD you are instantly aware of the reason why this music has been chosen to accompany the excellent TV series Customer Rating: Summary: Fresh n hip could it be channel 4 have outdone themselves... Comment: This is an incredibly cool CD for an incredibly cool programme. I'm not a fan of TV in general really but after watching this programme and listening to the sounds i have concluded that this is one soundtrack that should be in every self-respecting person's collection. With tracks from Turin Brakes and Starsailor its reflects the more attractive side of the current British pop scene but then numbers from Kid Galahad,ESP and Mercury Rev give it that added touch of diversity. I personally am an indie fan and i think that this compilation caters very well for my taste. It has quite a lot of variety and even if you don't wacth the programme atall this soundtrack is well worth it. So don't be shy and buy! xx More Reviews
