The last track - one by Bocherini, a composer whom I think should be as popular as Mozart or Beethoven I think really makes this sountrack what it is. Changeable and full of hidden energy.
Even without seeing the movie this soundtrack can be enjoyed, but of course it does help to visualise what you hear.
A good movie sountrack is one where you can feel and see the movie within it, it reflects the character and the memory of the movie on its own and not just thre to accompany dull scenese. (All depends on the movies of course - but this type of movie warrented an extra good soundtrack)
Definately worth the buy to relive the dramatic scenes and then bath in the beauty and thoughtful sounds of the string instruments.
Music written for film, as much of this CD is, is so much better as it was obviously composed to compliment and enhance the action and visual production values. The mixture of original score with existing classical and folk music really worked well. I can't wait to see the film now.
