However he is not a tenor! He is a baritone, hence he doesn't get to sing the arias we associate with Placido Domingo and other tenors. It also means that he got to sing Wotan, wonderfully, rather than Seigfried / Seigmund. Bryn's voice and diction is superb as usual and several of the tracks are just simply spine tingling - especially track 3: Soave sia il vento. This is a disk that I just can't stop playing. Bryn has to have one of the finest voices in the world and this collection, featuring all new recordings of Mozart pieces is one of his finest recordings to date. This combination of one of the world's greatest composers with one of the world's greatest voices is just too good not to own. It seems as though every year there are a whole host of new Mozart albums released - if you want to choose one of them as being an essential purchase you should definitely make it Tutto Mozart. Comment: One of the world's finest voices performing a whole album's worth of Mozart compositions - it simply doesn't get any better! These pieces really show off Bryn's wondrous voice and it is evident that Bryn relishes the chance to sing some of these classic Mozart selections. The quality of this disc is furthered with the addition of Sir Charles Mackerras conducting the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the combination of these great artists at work is just immense.
