Summary: Wicked is truly amazing
Comment: I got onto the Wicked trail after a friend just mentioned it. Then i started seeing Wicked
everywhere! I saw 'What is this feeling?' on children in need, and couldn't stop singing it, it was
then that i new i was hooked! The songs are amazing, and the voices are spectacular. I'm a member of
my local Amatuer Operatic Society, and if i could sing half as well as Idina Menzel, i would be
going somewhere! She has an amazing, powerful voice, and the rest of the cast add to the enjoyment.
I'm only 17, but this has to be my favourite musical, by FAR. Now i just need to so see it!! />Believe me, once you've listened to this soundtrack, you will be as hooked as i am. Buy it! it's
well worth it!

Summary: Unbelievably great!
Comment: I'm not usually a fan of musicals but I would go to see Wicked ten times again in a heartbeat.
Idina Menzel is amazing in the flesh but even just hearing her sing on this soundtrack gives you
goosebumps - her voice is unbelievable! Wicked is an amazing musical and listening to the
soundtrack just makes you want to go and see it again!! No wonder it's usually sold out!

Comment: This CD is one of the greatest CD's I have. From start to finish the songs are amazing.
I have
had the fortune of seeing it twice in the west and with Idina Menzel playing Elphaba who was
fantastic and breath-taking. She is such a beautiful woman (even when she is green) and uses here
whole body when she acts.
The songs written by Stephen Swartz give me goosebumps and capture
the feelings the of the characters to a tee.
Songs like defiying gravity and for good are some
of the best showstunes written for ages.
Wicked is the geartest musical ever written and the
critics who have slatted it are obviously deaf, dumb and blind to not realise how fantastic this
show is.

Summary: Wow!
Comment: This soundtrack is a must for anyone who has seen the West End show and wants to sing along loudly
and off key with the Broadway cast as they reach new heights of brilliance from start to finish. />
Certain songs stand out from the crowd, "One Short Day", "The Wizard and I" and "For Good"
being among the best. It has to be said though, anyone who has seen the show and doesn't get shivers
of excitement during "Defying Gravity" should have cold gravy poured over them in a public place as
a lesson to others!

While there isn't a weak voice among the cast, Idina Menzel belts
out her lead numbers with a voice that seems to literally raise the roof. Once heard, never
forgotten!

So take my advice, try to avoid the Gregory Maguire novel (the Musical has
a much better written narrative) and immerse yourself in over an hour of camp, harmonised,
shiver-inducing musical bliss!

Comment: WICKED IS SUCH AN BRILLIANT SOUNDTRACK, TRUST ME! Idina Menzel's voice is amazing, she really stands
out. but the songs! yes the songs are fantastic! especially "defying gravity" the majority of the
songs especially the ones where elphaba (idina) is singing are so great. i cant use words to
describe it. its just an amazing soundtrack you wont be disappointed, the songs are never boring
they tell a story and the music is perfect, it'll make you want to go and see it! i have never seen
wicked before but based on the soundtrack i would be willing to pay £50 £60 and higher to see
Wicked with Idina Menzel as Elphaba!
