Summary: Wicked is an appropriate title!
Comment: This is a fabulous musical, it is coming to the West End in September and I cant wait. Not only is
it a clever plot (basically a prequel to The Wizard of Oz though so much more than just that!), but
the music is incredible. Two really strong roles for female performers, many songs stand out. My
absolute favourites have to be Defying Gravity & Because I knew you, though all the songs the Wicked
Witch has are fabulous, well worth a listen for musical fans!

Summary: The best musical I know
Comment: As a musical theatre student, I know a lot of musicals, but I can say without a shadow of doubt that
this is my favourite. It grabs you right from the opening 10 seconds with its fabulous music, then
draws you in with brilliant performances from Idina Menzel, Krisin Chenoweth and Norbert Leo Butz.
Their voices are stunning, and there are also some brilliant ensemble performances, with brilliant
harmonies and dynamics.
The songs are inspired, from the light hearted humour of 'What Is This
Feeling' and 'Popular' to the beautiful and dark 'As Long As You're Mine' and the dramatic and
musically phenomenal 'Defying Gravity'.
Maybe as a recording it's not completely perfect, but I
love it and it's definately on my most played list. And I have my ticket for when it comes to
England!

Summary: This soundtrack is truly Wicked!!!
Comment: Hearing that this show was coming to London and the wizard of oz being a favourite film of mine as a
child, i thought i'd get this CD and see if it could match up to the original and how glad i am that
i did this as it surpasses the magic of the original. This musical is fantastic with magical songs
that are very much like the classics of Disney. So for a musical fan, a disney fan, a child or a
child at heart this is a must own and my tickets are being reserved for the west end show.

Summary: Best Musical Recording In Past 10 Years
Comment: Okay, so you like musical theatre? Buy this album! You will not regret it. Songs such as Defying
Gravity and As Long As You're Mine will move you. Songs like No One Mourns The Wicked and Popular
will have you rolling about the floor. Songs like Dancing Through Life and One Short Day will have
you singing all day! The cast are excellent and the score is fantastic! Honestly, trust me on this
one. This is excellent!

Summary: simply... wicked!
Comment: Wicked is an amazing musical and this CD a must for any musical fan. The show itself will be
opening in September 2006 at the Apollo Victoria, London. I advise you buy your copy now before
people see the show as once Wicked hits England we will be in Wicked fever. I don't know of anyone
that doesn't like this album and that's saying something! A MUST have!
