Summary: Superb! Excellent! Wouldn't be without it!
Comment: All I can say is I hope the BBC continue to use Murray Gold and the BBC Wales Orchestra for a very
long time on Doctor Who. If you enjoy(ed) the superb new series you'll want to relive the music and
this is the best way to really listen & enjoy the pure emotion written into each piece, which so
supports the excellent crew, cast, script etc etc. I'll stop gushing while I'm ahead...

Summary: Doctor Who Soundtrack
Comment: Utterly brilliant. This CD gives you the chance to listen to the music without the show and it is
even more haunting and memorable. Murray Gold is a great composer, may he always write the music for
Doctor Who. The emotional 'Doomsday" track is wonderful however and clear favourite but I think a
true masterpiece comes in the form of 'The Impossible Planet'...spine chilling. Highly recommended
for all DOctor Who fans and lovers of music in general

Summary: Murray is worth his weight in Gold
Comment: I thought my musical influences had come from friends, the media, etc. The BBC have made a fantastic
decision in choosing Murray Gold to compliment the series with his own unique style of music. />
Gold's music is very thought-provoking especially 'Doomsday'. 'Doomsday' features a rather
haunting voice and, even though we associate it with a very emotional episode, it is very
memorable.

Gold should be congratulated for his excellent ability to write and create
music. Hopefully, he will win many awards in future.

Summary: Westminster Bridge
Comment: I have been a big fan of Murray Golds music since DW returned to our screens, and have been yearning
to get my hands on his music-and now I have!! The CD is amazing, with some really stunning pieces of
music. My favourite has to be Westminster Bridge-It was that piece of music that hooked me onto the
series when it returned. I really hope Murray Gold makes another album for series 3!! I really want
to hear the piece where Martha first enters the Tardis-breathtaking!

Summary: Fantastic!
Comment: With thirty-one tracks on one cd, there is no way this could be anything but great value for money.
I am so pleased that Doctor Who fans weren't just palmed off with the token twelve tracks; here we
are getting all of Murray Gold's perfectly pitched, haunting and utterly compelling soundtrack for
season one and two. Highlights are the extended orchestral version of the "Doctor Who theme", "The
Doctor's Theme" (almost entirely Melanie Pappenheim's solitary vocals), and the fitting swansong for
Billie Piper and Rose Tyler "Doomsday". Even the sleeve insert is top-quality, with Gold's music
notes for each track! My only gripe is that "Song for Ten" is not the same version as on the
"Christmas Invasion" episode, this one having been re-recorded with Neil Hannon.
