Nostalgia Junk (56 mins) with Text on CD
Comment:
This nostalgia sampler contains 21 Tracks and not 22 as stated on the cover. The CD has 15 Instrumentals and 5 Vocal with 1 Advert track on Timex Watches. You will either hate this CD or Love it to bits.
The title should have been `Now we are Weird`, when you listen to it, you will find is not the general run of middle of the road music, just pure TV - Media Library Music, and know dou`t you will never hear these tracks anywhere else other then on this PAINFUL disc. All tracks are slow (BPM) and if you do buy a copy, you will have CD that you can talk about and share with your friends for many weeks. Then give it away to a chairty shop.
WARNING: Adult Track on 16, NOT for Air Play or younger listeners. Ruined the compilation of this disc along with Track 20.

Interconnected oddities
Comment:
A nice collection of long forgotten library music, theme tunes, off kilter jazz, ad jingles and musical porn, salvaged, in the main, from the archives by Jonny Trunk, who contributes a couple of tunes himself. The secret lies in how it is put together so that all these diverse ditties fit together seamlessly. Very enjoyable!

Well worth the money
Comment:
Trunk Records have been around for a while now (What's that you say? Ten years? How do you know that?) releasing very quirky and obscure soundtracks, advertisements and stuff which is generally pigeon-holed as 'off the wall'. This compilation is well worth the money because it's less than a fiver and the tracks are OK, but not something that will bear repeated listening.
I would recommend you investigate their website, however, and also the 'Dirty Fan Male' album is hilarious.

Sounds of the weird and wonderful
Comment:
This is a must for anyone who shares a love for the obscure and hard to find sounds from the sixties and seventies. Ranging from obscure horror film soundtracks (Blood On Satans Claw) to the delightful sounds from the Clangers. Much praise as well must go to John Camerons theme to Kes which is such a beatiful piece of music.
